My first time here tonight… it’s so hard to find a good Chinese take out. I been in Ottawa for quite sometime for medical reasons and I am so happy I took the time to stop in and try out this Chinese place. The chicken balls were the best I have ever tasted, the rice and chicken chop suey and egg roll were also very delicious. Like I said it’s hard to find a good Chinese place and I’m glad I stopped in here!

Great portions for the price - their General Tso chicken is not that spicy and it could’ve come with more veggies. Comes with rice however which is good ! Their vegetable chow mein however was good but I had better. I don’t know if they have veggie Shanghai noodles that you can order (not one the menu) which I tend to prefer. The fried wontons in appetizers were super good, we loved them !! They give you a big box and a lot of cherry sauce. Updated : their lunch special is very good for the price - big portions so you have some leftover for a second lunch !

My hubby and I came here for the first time. Wow! So good. Chicken balls are all chicken Veggies are prefect and crunchy. Sauce on both my chicken and the hubby's beef was excellant. And different, not one generic sauce for all here folks. Make the trip, it's worth it! If you're local, what are you waiting for. This place is amazing.

Been to every Chinese restaurant in Ottawa pretty much and this one wins for me,best eggrolls and everything always fresh and tasty,very hard working,pleasant, dedicated staff,their visible when they cook which tells you something and the kitchen is organized and clean ,the drive is far but that's prob a good thing as I'd go more often

Every time I go to this place, price goes up. Now shrink-flation. Ordered Dinner for 2 'A' $50 and no almond cookies now with that meal. AND they actually want tip on POS terminal! I've been customer for 25 years. NEVER going back. Enough is enough with this takeout. Going elsewhere. Today (Jan 7, 2023), pork loin on sale at Food Basics for $2; so 14 pounds for $28. Cost of 1 dozen open end eggrolls at AsiaWok is $28! Never ordering eggrolls at that price gouge 🤨

Takes 40 minutes every time we order. Food is good. A but on the sweet side tho. I have ordered multiple times tho and still like it beef and veggies. The meat seemed like rubber. It was weird

Ordered takeout today- portions were very generous, everything was delicious, and everything was ready in 20 mins for pickup. The open ended egg rolls are amazing.

Expensive. No matter how many dishes you order, they will only give you 1 little container of rice. It's rice!!! Tacky. Open ended egg rolls are ok. Beef and broccoli was ok, but sodium was too much. Customer care - well part of that is lost in the skimpy portions and indifferent mannerisms. Not certain about a second chance. #localguide
